Hinna Physiotherapy offers a wide range of courses
and services for parents and children.
PREGNANCY
MASSAGE
Massage is a soothing and safe way to relieve physical and mental
stress associated with pregnancy.
We have our own pregnant bench with space for a growing belly.
BABY
MASSAGE
Baby massage is a wonderful opportunity to deepen and develop the
interaction between parents and children.
Through massage the child receives an experience of loving touch,
contact, communication, joy, pleasure, relaxation and fun.
Infant Massage
is not treatment, but experience has shown that certain techniques
will help with colic.
Participants
will learn a "colic program" that can be carried out if
the baby has colic, or at times is troubled with pain due to gas
or/and constipation. These techniques are very effective. It is
a great tool in which parents can do to help their child.
There is also a review of first aid (CPR) on infants, as well as
what to do if the child gets something stuck in its throat. These
are useful lessons once you have become parents!
The course takes
place in groups, during 4 Fridays. Number of participants per group
is from 4-8 babies.
The
parents are massaging their own children while the instructor shows
the different grips on a doll.
Participants will get a booklet with the various massage grips,
oil, and a certificate / diploma to your child after completing
the course.
There
is a possibility of afternoon courses if both parents want to do
the course. There must be a minimum of 4 couples registered. Time:
16.00 to 17.00. The day is agreed with the group.
MOTHER AND BABY FITNESS
The training is done to music, with and without the baby. This is
a nice way to get in shape together with other mothers. The young
also seem to thrive, both with the mother and babies.
We do strengthening exercises mainly focusing on stomach, buttocks
and thighs, but there will be training the entire body. We also
focus on pelvic floor exercises.
There will be no hard cardio at this hour.
For the child, we also cover themes such as motor development, life
saving in infants, and gentle exercise.
A new group is starting up now.
The course will be held on thursdays between
11 and 12 AM.
The
groups starts when there is enough participants. Courses
takes place at Hinna Physiotherapy for 10 sessions.
