Hinna Physiotherapy
offers both IntraMuscular Stimulation (IMS) and classical acupuncture.
IntraMuscular
Stimulation (IMS):
Is used to treat
muscular trigger points. The IMS treatment, muscle emits a muscle
spasm (involuntary reflex), where muscle fibers in the tight muscle
contracts before they relax.
During the IMS-treatment one tries to trigger all these muscle spasms,
so that after the treatment the muscle is more relaxed and less
painful.
IMS is a gentle
way to relieve:
- Muscle Knots
- Sports Injuries
- Neck and
shoulder problems
- Back pain
- Hip / pelvic
problems
- Carpal Tunnel
Syndrome
- Arthritis
Classic
acupuncture:
Traditional
Chinese Medicine is over 2500 years old, where one considers the
balance of body and soul by assessing different symptoms, pulse
and tongue.
A prerequisite
for good health is that yin and yang are in balance, and Qi (energy)
flows freely.
Acupuncture restores the balance between yin and yang and get Qi
to flow freely.
In this way, acupuncture stimulates the body's own healing processes
to function optimally and to treat pain problems, migraine, inflammation
and digestive problems.
Auriculotherapy
(ear acupuncture):
Was discovered
by the French physician Paul Nogi in 1957.
The technique consists in using ear reflex zones, to treat pain
and functional problems.
During the treatment the therapist searches with an electric pointer,
wich tells you where there is reduced resistance in different points
in the ear, thus indicating a need for further treatment.
Charging with
electricity and with a acupuncture needle in these points, one can
then reduce or eliminate problems of both physical and mental character.
Posturology:
The therapist
examines and treats the body's tonic muscles by looking at deviations
from normal in the standing position.
The therapist will find out if a problem is caused by the positioning
of the feet, eye coordination or the mandibula, and proceed with
acupuncture needles in the ear or with eye exercises.
Chronic and acute pain, difficulty concentrating, blurred vision
and stability problems may disappear completely.
Please let us know when you make an appointment if you want classical
acupuncture, auriculotherapy, or posturology.
